Foundation Director/Case Manager
The full-time Foundation Director/Case manager will work a 40-hour week. The Foundation Director/Case Manager will work directly with participants as well as with employers and/or employment agencies for job placement of participants to execute all activities required for the position.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Occasional weekend, evening or special event assistance may be required).

Job responsibilities include the following:
- Management of day to day operations of the Bilingual Workforce and Business Development center.
- Respond to and monitor grant inquiries
- Review proposal forms and submitted proposals. Ensure compliance with grant agreement and fund expenditures
- Serves as spokesperson for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Louisiana Foundation (HCCLF) and cultivates relationships with potential funders and sponsors
- Provides Bilingual Public Services, including but not limited to resume assistance, job placement and access to local and federal aid.
- Provides technical assistance to small business owners and entrepreneurs
- Oversees the creation, writing, editing and production of press releases, weekly newsletter, social media posts, flyers and other promotional materials
- Submits monthly and quarterly reports describing the progress of the program, project or use and the expenditure of the grant funds
- Plans and coordinates educational workshops both in person and virtually
- Plans and executes a minimum of two job fairs a year
- Refer students for further training and certification or to HCCL collaborators for supportive services.
- Creates community awareness of the goals and objectives of the foundation.
- Works closely with the CEO and board of directors to establish goals that are responsive to members needs and serve to advance the economic welfare of Louisiana’s Hispanic Community.
- All other duties and participation in HCCL activities and events as designated by Board and HCCL President/CEO
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in the field of social works or general business administration
- MUST BE COMPLETELY BILINGUAL in English and Spanish Written & Spoken
- Fully proficient in the use of MS Office Suite and Apple software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Fully proficient in the use of G-Suite and it’s products: Google drive, sheets, docs, slides, calendar, meet, etc.
- Basic graphic design knowledge is preferred
- Familiarity with ChamberMaster and WordPress is strongly preferred
- Organized & attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Excellent problem solving & people skills
- Able to handle a fast pace business environment
- Have basic knowledge of business etiquette, language, and protocol
- Physical ability to do the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations. Physical requirements to be expected within the scope of responsibilities include occasional light lifting; ability to sit or remain stationary, sometimes for several hours at a time; and ability to work at a computer station for several hours per day.
